This thread is related to "Preview" addon, which allows to preview your post before submission. This is an official addon issued by miniBB.com team (Paul Puzyrev), you can download/install it for free from our Downloads page.

Yes, there is a plugin for that. You can get it from the download page and install it.

The Preview-button is in main_post_form.html
The Submit-botton is in main_post_area.html

Don't know if it is posible to modify this to get them next to eachother. When you move the Preview-button to main_post_form.html, it will be on every page. The closest you can get is to put them right above eachother.

I have put Preview buttom over Submit buttom like that:

open:

main_post_form.html

find:

<tr><td class=tbTransparent>{$loginLogout}</td></tr>

after add:

<tr><td class=tbTransparent>&nbsp;<input type=button value="{$preview}" class=inputButton onClick="prevThis();"></td></tr>

Sorry, can't help you with that. Maybe someone else has a solution for this.

Hi,
is it possible allow only preview when submitting new post? So that user can't directly submit it, but first preview and only on the preview page do a submit?

This addon just provides a "preview" button which user may click to preview his post before sending, if he wants. Not possible to display it on additional submission page (and we think it's a most "boring" solution which will bore your users a lot).

Can the preview button be used in the PM section?
