This error doesn't actually mean what it says (for security reasons — REFCODE is different for each date); but it certainly means that the script couldn't connect to your database, because you didn't put in the correct credentials for it.

Check the manual for initial configuration, you should at first to edit the options file, providing the valid access data for your database connection, i.e. host, login and password.

It's correct. Sign in as admin, go to the admin panel, and Add forums.

Post here any common questions about miniBB. Private support is not free.
