New user Registration email — password in plain txt

Just had a new user complain that the email sent after registration contains their password in plain txt format.
Not something I've really thought about, but I guess it's not a good idea.

Is there an option to remove the actual password, and replace with ****** or something?

This is the issue been fixed in miniBB 3.5.

You could modify templates/email_user_register_eng.txt and remove the straight password visible, or you could just replace it by default file from the newest miniBB package we have at the moment.

Post as a Guest, leaving the Password field blank. You could also enter a Guest name, if it's not taken by a member yet. Sign-in and post at once, or just sign-in, bypassing the message's text.
