Disabling Statistics

How does one disable individual statistics on the statistics page. I would like to just disable the "number of posts" part of the statistics page but if necessary I will disable the entire page.

I wouldn't mind having access to the statistics I just don't want it to be viewable to the users of the board... I'm getting a lot of people who want to have the most posts and it's kinda annoying.

Thanks!

Do you mean the general statistics or the statistics shown in user info? If general, you need nust to remove some stuff from the template. Also, you can remove the "Statistics" menu from the main_header ($l_menu[3]).

I guess I'd like to know how to do both. User info and in general. Is there a way to just disable certain statistics (i.e. most active user)? Thanks for your help!

I guess, you need just to remove this part from stats.html template.

I'm sorry... what part do I remove from stat.html?

And, also, how can I eliminate it from the user info page?

It's a part with "$l_stats_numPosts".

how can I eliminate it from the user info page?
You need to comment or remove a snippet in bb_func_usernfo.php

/* Posts count */
if ($lastT=DB_query(93,0)) {
$what=$l_stats_numPosts;
$whatValue=$lastT[0]-$whatValue;
$USERINFO.=ParseTpl($usrCell);
}

Thanks a lot for your help. I don't have the file bb_func_usernfo.php. Maybe that's for the newer version.

I searched and found it in the file functions.php and commented out the following:

/* Activities */
$what=$l_usrInfo[10]; $whatValue=uFstats($user);
$cell=$usrCell;
eval("\$cell = \"$cell\";"); $cell=stripslashes($cell);
$USERINFO.=$cell;

Works like a charm! Thanks again!

Ah, you have older version :) UPGRADE to new - recommended :) We are no longer supporting old versions.
