Hello.
I want to have a News Forum in miniBB.

I am going to have a News Team that find news and post them in the forum (as a topic).

And I want ppl to be able to post comments to the news.

I need to have it so that onley the News Team can make new topics in the Forum.

And then everyone can comment on the news.


Is there a easy way to do this?

You can create "post-only" forum (read manual, how), where usual people can only make replies. Administrator or moderator can post in this forum anything, including new topics.

OK.
I made the New forum post-only now.
And I'm going to use add some user Ranks.

And it looks like it's working.
