shouldn't a new topic should count as one post as well?

ummm ...well, a reg.Forum ... i created the first topic... but in index.php of the forums... its "topics=1, posts=0"

any clues?

edit: someone just replied to the thread... now its "topics=1, posts=1"... which should be "posts=2" if you count the one that started it correct?

This is very disputable question :) Actually, this is used for separation of topics and replies. If you don't like the word "posts", change it to "replies" in your language pack.
