I have had to move a site to paid hosting. I did this by zipping up the site and moving it so everything is as was. The PHP version I have on my own server is PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.6 whereas it is PHP Version 5.4.24 on the new. I can't seem to get the captcha image to show. When I look at the image url and attempt to view it in my browser I get that 'the image blah blah cannot be displayed because of errors'. If I use the same url on another identical forum I have (domain altered) on my own server it works.

Any idea how to fix this?

I have uploaded a phpinfo file and it appears that 'FreeType Support' isn't enabled. Hope to hell they will enable it for me.

hey bluesplayer, just an idea here:
can u try to do a fresh install of minibb on this new host? like do it in a subfolder that no one can see. just try it out.
