remove thread subscription possibility

i'm pretty sure i didn't see any mention of this in the archives or the readme files, but is there a way to remove the automated e-mail reply when posting a message?

What do you mean by "automated"? For admin or usual user? For admin, you need to turn this feature in options. Users who has been subscribed to the topic, can do unsubscribe by clicking on the appearing link below the thread.

by "automated" i mean "automaticly sent e-mails". by options, do you mean preferences? because i can't seem to find the option anywhere.

Options mean :setup_options.php: - this is for admin (read manual for more).
Usual users can subscribe by clicking "Email notification" box near post window, and also unsubsribe there if subscribed.
