    What is MODS in your terminology - moderators? And what is themes - topics or skins? Anyway, I'm afraid that the version in "Download" is the only one available and nobody could offer you a kind of abridged "light" version "for children"...

    ... our simple quotes system? More admin power - admin is ALREADY the person who owns ALL right to the forums, what more? As about styling - don't be too egoistic. Remember that there are a lot of skins, and you can easily change the look of the board, just editing 2-3 CSS options. It is not difficult to create your own A.style of links, then just add them to <A>, if you need some...

    miniBB 1.7 released! Beginning from version 1.7, miniBB has no php skins and ./skins directory. All colors and former skin info is stored in bb_default_style.css file in CSS 2 format. Having new CSS templates boosted miniBB - it's faster...

    - it suddenly blocked claiming that it was "unable to access" and "failed opening" skins.php, lang.php, a.o. setup.php options, that it was apparently trying to reach at "admin.php" file, (meantime renamed, according to your advise, with setup file adjusted accordingly)...
