phalancs: What i want is "real" integrationWhat do you think is a "real" integration? I didn't get it from your posting. Actually, I didn't get the point what your posting or question is about...

23. Posted: 26 Apr 2012 00:41 - Specific / Problem with integration
I thought miniBB would be the perfect script to integrate into my existing website. I installed it and even coded the user bridge to use my own authentification. Everything so far was good. Anyways, integration in ones own script is a pain in the arse... Even after all the reading in the manual and forum, it seems there is no complete info about how to integrate the forum into a php script...

24. Posted: 28 Nov 2011 17:18 - Specific / Can MiniBB be dynamically integrated into an existing class-based site?
... That's the main method. Answering your questions: 1) It's not recommended by us and in some ways it's too heavy to load. However it's still possible to include miniBB that way. Layout integration should be completed only from miniBB itself. Then it will work with all of its powers, like it should. 2) It's done in one CSS file and standalone templates. 3) You could program...

25. Posted: 28 Nov 2011 14:20 - Specific / Can MiniBB be dynamically integrated into an existing class-based site?
... reply, Paul. To be clear, I do NOT need to convert MiniBB to a class. I can simply PHP "include" the files, this isn't a problem. I know that MiniBB can do username/password/session integration quite easily, but I am looking for something more than that. I need to be able to: 1) Incorporate the MiniBB body into a page on my site, rather than incorporating my site header/footer...

26. Posted: 28 Nov 2011 11:02 - Specific / Can MiniBB be dynamically integrated into an existing class-based site?
... good results in speed and efficiency, if you will "class" miniBB the way you suggest. Search forums already may give you some tips: Using existing site username/password session variables Integration with external DB and Session management

27. Posted: 25 Nov 2011 20:37 - Specific / Can MiniBB be dynamically integrated into an existing class-based site?
... integrate it with my existing class-based site rather than have to have a separate file (other than the existing index.php) for MiniBB. Editing the header.tpl and footer.tpl files would only be a superficial integration of MiniBB within my site, and not a real integration with how the site currently functions and operates. Is anything like this remotely possible with MiniBB's integration...

28. Posted: 4 Jul 2011 09:07 - Suggestions / Tapatalk Feature or Premium Addon for miniBB?
... premium. Guest: The only Problem Tapatalk Api must be integrated in to miniBB like an Addon or in the Code of miniBB.That's really a huge problem. Because we don't practice 3rd party code integrations in miniBB. That's why miniBB stays as an extra-clean no-problematic app. We don't care what other software is supposed to support, it's their own strategy, we support...

29. Posted: 26 Mar 2011 06:25 - Master Class / Integration with external DB and Session management
I have been using the synchronizing_minibb.html and have almost finished the integration. It is operational. Some issues 1. The creation of table uses TYPE , this is now called ENGINE 2. In my case the user_id is unique (not the username), so I have changed bb_cookie...

... testing this environment on Localhost, it may be because WordPress sets its primary authorization cookie for a specified folder only, not the whole domain or site as it's required by the miniBB common integration guide. To fix this, try to modify /wp-includes/default-constants.php fixing the following: if ( !defined('COOKIEPATH') ) //define('COOKIEPATH', preg_replace('|https?://[^/]+|i'...

32. Posted: 8 Sep 2010 04:02 - Specific / Integration into existing website
Here we have a related thread you may find solution in: https://www.minibb.com/forums/7_2583_1.html I also have given reply regarding header and footer integration in this thread: Is there a way to integrate my header.php file? If you search by "header" you will find a lot of related topics.

... eventually get it right. The issue is no doubt my includes, by way of bastardizing your header and footer into our system. Somewhere I must have a conflict for it to screw up in diff browsers. As far as integration goes with the rest of the site, we will sync the 2 this week ourselves ( I have 2 coders who work in our Brisbane offices ) they are back in Wednesday. We usually only delve into VB...

... features by *newbies*, are living for about few months. Like it's said above, there is nothing long-term. Not our game. We never claimed miniBB is for absolute dorks. It's like a platform for integration with existing website. And if you build integrations, of course you must know how to edit plain text file and set some options. In a difficult case, this is really for...

35. Posted: 23 Apr 2010 07:32 - Suggestions / Suggestion to improve Synchronizing with existing Membership systems
I read with interest the "synchronizing with existing membership" document as I have an existing website I'm integrating with. miniBB Forum Integration into 3rd party membership / login authorization system A suggestion in order to make this simplier which I hope you'd consider, In order to remove the need to modify the bb_cookie...

36. Posted: 19 Apr 2010 12:30 - Re-cycled / Calling header, main and footer directly from php page. Is it possible?
Integrating with Wordpress means synchronizing membership systems. It's not like header and footer. Here we have a detailed guide regarding membership integration. I also have given reply regarding header and footer integration in this thread: Is there a way to integrate my header.php file? If you search by "header"...

37. Posted: 19 Apr 2010 08:23 - Re-cycled / Calling header, main and footer directly from php page. Is it possible?
... think I have found out how to roughly do it. Integrating miniBB in a Wordpress theme Looks like it'll make upgrading a pain. Is it possible to somehow like the membership synchronizing make this integration non-code-destructive.

... such kind of panel? I understand we might have this, we might have that... But who will program all that? I guess this mad moron Paul should do that, again. Sergeusz: It's all because there is no integration with CMS I use. It's because you're not a coder. You wasn't able to program the bridge with miniBB and CMS, and you tried to save your money to take the weak/buggy solution...

... for example settings? You need to edit txt file full of code. Why not to make special panel or smth like this? Then speaking about me why I don't use minibb now. It's all because there is no integration with CMS I use. And when I had needed to provide more functionality for members, I decided to stop using minibb, and preferred it to another forum software which was easily integrated...
