... was much smaller, faster, and less bulky than the more full-featured alternatives, and it was MUCH more customizable. Within about 4 hours' time, I was able to customize the heck out of it and integrate it into the overall look and feel of my site. Very nice!

... put a password in place before a user can even see the forums. The site responds extremely quickly, which is a good thing, as some of us are behind extremely slow connections.
