... should consider rewriting miniBB. i've not seen many programs written such confusing code. i'm currently work to get this thing integrated in a portal and have to do workarounds for all the login stuff of minibb. minibb is nice, cause it's very lightweight. Anonymous yes, this is possible if you will compile apache with mysql support - otherwise you will have to make general password for forum access and then users will also have to login into forums. Actually in miniBB there's whole forum password protection when there's additional general password for forums. Of course we can compile apache with mysql module...

When I attempted to login as Admin, to add the remaining forums, I could not! It seems to recognize the password, but it won't log me in. That is, if I use a purposely wrong Admin login/password...

I just used the forum like an hour ago. Now I can't login anymore. If you are using Opera and upgraded it during that hour that is the reason. There is a bug in Opera 7.1, it can't log in. Opera Opera 6 and 7.2 for example can. Unbelievingly...
