There is an idea. It is possible to make additional icons for sub-forums? At a forum such as an icon sport, and in forums (sub-forums) of this group has its icon. (Eg sports) This is so for example, the subject index can be different ...

We don't have sub-forums in miniBB. All forums are root.

If you mean super-title icons, I don't see much sense in it, but yes, it's all possible, if you modify the core files. It's open source, so you are welcome to do with them whatever you want.
