č and ď not funkcion

Good day, i have a problem with right display these symbols : č and ď in my forum...It happnes when i move my hosting to hosting with safe_mode off and coding between database and forums make these errors :-( my language is czech language and i really want č and ď (instead these symbols i have only two ??)

What you may try to do is - in your language file (the default is /lang/eng.php, but for Czech it is different I think, maybe czech.php) you may change the charset to iso-8859-2:

$l_meta='<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-2" />';

It also could happen if you transfer the databases between hosting servers with incorrect encoding. Datas which have special characters included, should be backed up with proper encoding - be sure about this...
