I used metapad for a long time when I had windows. I moved to linux and wondered if there would be an equally brilliant text editor. There are many, many text editors. Then I stumbled apon Bluefish Editor. Wow. I previously had tried notetab on windows, which was too big and slow for me. Bluefish editor is also a web-based technologies editor (HTML, Javascript, Css, Php etc) - but it is brilliant, fast and saves you a lot of time. |
