In cPanel there's an option to place specific privileges to the miniBB's database user. Here's a screenshot of available options:

mySQL privileges in cPanel

Can Paul or someone who knows more about this please confirm what are the privileges that miniBB needs? I'd say only these are needed:

CREATE
DELETE
INSERT
SELECT
UPDATE

Are there more?

You have mentioned all privileges miniBB needs.

I would also add 'Lock Tables' privilege - some mySQL dumps may contain this command.
Could be useful in the future - and it's not critical in a security term.

It's a good idea to limit mySQL rights to the account which is used by forum. Despite in most cases this account is assigned to 'localhost' and could not be used in remote access, some possible new mySQL-injections could protect your database from unwanted actions.

Okey, excellent. Thanks for clarifying this. :-)
