.htaccess file is one you need to have in forums directory, and it must be edited accordingly to the format provided in manual.

Nothing is related to miniBB... it could only mean your hoster doesn't allow it, or some other stuff to write in is needed (for example, on our server here, we need to specify RewriteBase rule additionally, since it should point only to forums or core site folder). Contact your hosting provider for that... it's a very server-related configuration, and I can't help you in that.

So, in this file I have find:

//$mod_rewrite=TRUE

I should rewrite to:

Is that Ok?

Mirekk,
Incorrect: //$mod_rewrite=ON;
Correct: $mod_rewrite=TRUE;
All best,

I did test.
So, when I modify in setup_options.php $mod_rewrite=TRUE;
and I click on Topic, I have message :

Not Found

The requested URL /forum/3_17_0.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2 Server at www.elmundo.cz Port 80

So probably it is not way.

Hi Mirek, have you had a look at and followed the instructions described in the Enabling mod_rewrite section of the miniBB Manual? Updating setup_options.php is only one of a couple of things you need to do to enable mod_rewrite.
Cheers,

You need to setup .htaccess file properly - must say it doesn't work on absolutely all servers, and your Apache server must support this feature as well.
