It never worked. I wanted to show 10 replies per page, but I wanted 50+ replies to become a hot topic.

So? Set $viewmaxreplys=10; in setup_options.php and if($action=='vtopic') $viewmaxreplys=50;

It should work! At last, it workes with default miniBB version.
