What is Quote type 2?

In main_posts.html:

if (isQuote == 1) {
strinL = '' + strinL + '' + '\n';
}
if (isQuote == 2) {
strinL = '' + strinL + '' + '\n';
}

What is the second type of quote? When is it used?

So, it's used for [b] and [i], different types of inserting text.

Oh i mean when would the quote show as bold. I know when you quote someone it usually comes out as italic for example I will quote you right now:

and in this case it is italic but what is case 2? when does a quote become bold?
