First of all I would like to give my conratulations to the miniBB team and wish them the best. Now my 2 questions(I'm always talking about the latest version) : 1. Is there a way to change the mysql tables names that miniBB uses. 2. How do Ichange the Faq section (I would like not to appear some informations , like installation instructions).
Thanks

1. Yes, go into your setup_options.php file and near the bottom is

$Tf='forums';
$Tp='posts';
$Tt='topics';
$Tu='users';
$Ts='send_mails';
$Tb='banned';

just change these to what you want.

2. go into the templates folder and open manual.html in a text editor, such as notepad to say what you want it to.

Hi Paul,
Is it ok/safe to change existing miniBB table prefixes AFTER installation?
I am not too unhappy with the names I used when I first installed miniBB many years ago. To improve security, is there a safe way to assign existing tables new names safely without breaking the forums or losing data?
With thanks -

I would say it is possible, safety is not the key point here...

You must first rename tables in mySQL using a special command, then just put the same names under miniBB's setup_options.php.

I guess that would be all!
