Lycos & PHP/MySQL problems

Hi can anyone help?
The web designer that did 2 sites at Lycos for me has dissapeared !!!
I think he designed the 2 sites in PHP or MySQL. The problem is I changed the webpointing for the 2 sites temporarily in the Lycos control panel & now when I link back to the sites- I get nothing apart from a blank page. I now remember he had to put in some sort of re-direct page into the lycos system as their security did not allow for direct linking into a database via the direct URL. Does anyone know what sort of linking pager would be present in either of these 2 databases and/or how designers get around this security problem at Lycos. I phoned lycos support - who as ever are as useful as a chocolate tea pot in a desert....thanks for any help

Sorry, we are not discussing general programming questions here, specially if they affect custom programming work. Everything you may know out about out software's paid support, can be found on corresponding page. Everything else does not affect our discussion board.
