Upgrade 1.7d to 2.02a

Is it possible to upgrade a forum based on MiniBB 1.7d to 2.02a and keep all the topics, users and messages of the forum?
What's the complete procedure to do it ?

Oh boy, that's a long way to go. Try downloading the Update History zip file from the downloads page and implement the changes listed there.

Or you could try to make a backup your database and then install the new minibb and then restore the info but I don't know how much the database has changed from the 1.7d version.
