get member id when "member" is not displayed

how do i get a member's id number when I dont see the text link "member" next to their name in their posts?

my forum is getting spammed like crazy

There is no ID is you don't see it... such post may be made by a Guest poster (Anonymous).

You may set up your board for registered users only, and/or purchase Captcha add-on.
