my .htaccess file looks like this:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^index\.html$ ./index.php?mdrw=on
RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)_([0-9]+)_([-0-9]+)\.html$ ./index.php?action=vthread&forum=$1&topic=$2&page=$3&mdrw=on
RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)_([-0-9]+)\.html$ ./index.php?action=vtopic&forum=$1&page=$2&mdrw=on
but I just added a line so that I can execute php code within html pages, so I added this line and my .htaccess now looks like :
AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^index\.html$ ./index.php?mdrw=on
RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)_([0-9]+)_([-0-9]+)\.html$ ./index.php?action=vthread&forum=$1&topic=$2&page=$3&mdrw=on
RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)_([-0-9]+)\.html$ ./index.php?action=vtopic&forum=$1&page=$2&mdrw=on
but for some reason, I am still unable to execute a piece of php code on the forums html pages...
any clue why?
I know that the AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
is the correct command for my server configuration...
and it does work when for example I create my own .html page and then put some php code within that html page...
but for some reason despite the addtype command in .htaccess, I am still unable to execute php code pieces within the various .html post pages of my minibb forum...
