All umlauts and characters like arabic or chinese characters are dependant on your browser's encoding settings!

Alle Umlaute und Sonderzeichen wie arabische oder chinesische Schriftzeichen sind von den Codierungseinstellungen vom Browser abhängig!

You are near right ;) If you are using IE, it is OK not depending on encoding.

Strange - I thought IE is the most popular :) But it does not depend on me - I am using Netscape 4.79 ;)
