How to make waffles

Mix two cups flour, 1 tablespoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Then mix in one egg, 1 1/2 cups milk, and two tablespoons shortening or vegetable oil.

Stir well, pour into waffle iron, and remove when it comes to a golden crisp.

Use toppings of butter and syrup, or whip cream and your favourite fruits and berries.

Enjoy and don't forget to exercise, especially if you've eaten the butter and syrup.
