Keeping date of post editing

Is there a variable that could show the edited date?

Currently the post header looks like:

Posted: 02 Jul 2006 22:02 - Edited by: PosterName

Would it be possible to show it like that:

Posted: 02 Jul 2006 22:02 - Edited by: PosterName {$lasteditdate}

where {$lasteditdate} is the date/time when the post was last edited.

This could be useful especially with the sticky topics where some new information may be added/edited.

We have no such kind of variable and no plans to implement it. This date anyway is not refreshing on any other page, so there is no sense to keep it.

OK, makes sense. Thanks.
