Email notification query

Is it by design that only the first x number of characters/words of the latest reply are included in email notifcations? If possible, how does one enable the entire post to appear in the email notification?

Yes, it is by default and could be changed only by direct editing bb_func_pthread. Including the whole message is risky: noone knows how long it could be, so your email server can be overloaded. I don't recommend to include full text. Those, it will decrement visiting amount to your forums, I guess, you are not interested in that, too.
