New addon: Merge Topics; fixed: Moving Replies

"Merge topics" released today - allows you to attach one topic to the end of another, or "merge" two topics into one.

"Moving Replies" addon was fixed - now after moving message, if you click on "View to-moved topic" link, it should go directly to the moved message, taking into attention page splitting and anchor. "View old topic" link goes to the same old message's page.

Report here if there are any issues regarding these releases. Enjoy! :-)

Thanks for the handy merge topics addon, Paul. Just wanted to point out a slight mistake in the installation readme:
{$stickyTopic} is found in the template main_posts.html, not main_posts_cell.html.
Cheers,
mb

A little update for "Merge topics" addon - from now it also should work correctly for moderators.

For moving replies is the code to be pasted to bb_plugins.php different if mod_rewrite is enabled ? When I modify bb_plugins.php according to the instructions in readme.txt, the forum becomes blank.

It could mean only you're getting some kind of error (because of invalid pasting etc.), but this error is not displayed, 'cause PHP has errors mode set to E_NONE probably, like on most hosting servers... Nope, it doesn't matter do you have mod_rewrite enabled or not. On our forums, we have it enabled, too, but Mergeing topics addon works just fine (we're also using it here).

Thanks for replying . I am specifically looking to move replies.
I have changed indexphp to index.php in function parseMessage() . Should I change to index.html or is indexphp OK?

Meant both Mergeing topics and Moving replies addon. They should work by default in mod_rewrite mode, as they are working the same way here. You don't need to change anything.

But please be sure you have up-to-date version of your miniBB, also as plugins themselves! We're supporting only latest releases. In old releases, there could be such kind of mistakes.
