How to get the forum to look like the demo with the forum boards on top and not side?

I'd like mine exactly like the demo (the blue and white version), but no matter how I change the skins/css, the topic /boards go on the side, not on the top like this. Any idea how to get it looking exactly like the demo?

It's about a setting from setup_options.php. For the old-school layout, set

$startPageModern=FALSE;
Take a look in search results for more.
