I have on a site a miniBB forum. I am a forum administrator. I tray to create a new user for my other by the administrator user. I complete all filds in registration page bat the forum response my with the next error

Error in user data: Unable to register new user. Possibly the username or email address has already been registered or administrator info isn't filled out yet.

Please help me!!!

I am not sure what you are doing and why you get this error, but I am sure that registering new user by administrator fully works as I've just tested it.

You need to be sure that:

1) You have user with ID=1 in your database (admin)

2) Being logged in as admin, you are typing the sign up URL (index.php?action=registernew) directly, since sign up button won't be visible

3) You are trying to register a username which is already present in the database.

I met the same problem.
I chekced the top items

1) You have user with ID=1 in your database (admin)


I inserted a new user admin to DB table: minibbtable_users .

Now soluted!
