X-Powered-By: PHP/5.1.6 Content-type: text/html

remove X-Powered-By: PHP/5.1.6 Content-type: text/html

do not show X-Powered-By: PHP/5.1.6 Content-type: text/html

....

Non of them had a result I could do something with.
Finally I solved it by using substr (I guess that's a really bad solution)

I see now.

Don't know where you've got a knowledge to enter specific phrases in search - I would recommend to enter a common phrase, containing as more specific words as possible, without the words "do", "not" etc... PHP version may differ as well. If you'd enter for example "hide X-Powered-By Content-type: text/html" you will find the same page.

But I'm not really supposed to give a teaching in search :-)

Though I didn't understand how "substr" is involved here.

Instead of returning $res i use substr($res, 48) in the function.
I know it's a real bad solution but it was all I could get up with at the time :)

Don't mind the search lesson. I'll keep it in mind. :-)
I feel stupid now that I didn't come up with hide

By substr - do you mean PHP function? I can't understand HOW could you apply PHP function to the output generated by Apache. It's useless. Or are you making ob_start() / ob_end_fliush() some way?

Yeah the function.
I was also surprised it worked but it does work.

I didn't do anything else than change $res in substr($res, 48)

Ok it still seems not very clear for me, but glad you've fixed it.
