Does anyone could help me determine how to get the link to the first page of the particular topic? I'd like to put a link from the posts pages to #newtopic.

I was thinking something like that below (but I'm not sure if the system will know on which page currently the poster is so that the topic is created in correct forums)?

yes, if you want it to be linked to the Topics page and have rewrite mod enabled this link will work.
