I must also think of how to make an integration bridge — got a few requests about websites using the current miniBB auth system as their own... coding the new system, I must keep in mind of how to easy adopt it to any website...

In the case of 3rd party integration, you shouldn't use this add-on at all - because 3rd party module should handle all profiles registration, their verifying etc., and not miniBB.
