1. Posted: 5 Sep 2020 00:07 - Custom Tutorials and Modifications / Admin only auto-resizeable iframe to display code in particular
Embarrassing! There is no need for this hack. The reason I could't post code was because I had allowed Admin to post html by setting $adminHTML=TRUE. If I log in as Tester (a normal user) I can post the code directly and minibb displays it as is — just like Bludit does. To cure the problem I just have to set $adminHTML=FALSE...

For complicated structures, you may take a look at the setting called $adminHTML. It allows to post straight HTML code for the admin. I think with that you may achieve any result you want.

7. Posted: 5 Jul 2010 09:24 - Specific / Adding a "Custom HTML" button to the post form?
Thank you for your help, would that setting ( $adminHTML=TRUE; ) require me to always use html? Or can I switch between normal use and HTML, if so, how (button/tags)? Thanks once again :-)

8. Posted: 5 Jul 2010 02:48 - Specific / Adding a "Custom HTML" button to the post form?
... purposes. Besides simply adding the button, you need to care a lot of things - that's right, in bb_codes.php, too. By default, miniBB has a hidden option, under setup_options.php you may specify: $adminHTML=TRUE; it will allow direct HTML posts for admins and moderators. If you mean the special BB code which would allow certain pieces of HTML in the posted messages, I'm afraid it's...

9. Posted: 20 Jan 2009 04:39 - The Other / Editing post with "quotes in the subject" when $adminHTML is set to TRUE
OK. You are right but I have found that you can repeat this error in the following way: 1. Set $adminHTML=TRUE in setup_options.php 2. Start new topic with quotes in the subject 3. Try to edit this post The first step is the key. I had adminHTML switched on and it caused...

10. Posted: 18 Sep 2007 01:22 - How To / enable posting of html code for admins only
I suppose in setup_options.php you will just then need to set up $adminHTML=TRUE; and that will enable straight posting of any kind of direct HTML for admin and moderators.
