hi there, sorry for my bad english.
My problem is the following:
i arrive to the index page of the forum with a custom php variable called 'id' like that
www.?????.com/forum/index.php?id=xxxxxxx

i arrive to show in my header the content with {$id}

i want to keep this variable id alive all the time when i use the forum.
for this moment, when i click to any link , like vthread etc, i loose the variable content in the next page id =

all information about keeping alive a variable all the time are welcome.

Many thanks to all

Try to define it under $indexphp of setup_options.php.

$indexphp='index.php?id=xxxx&';
It will work only for non-mod_rewritten pages. If you have mod_rewrite rules, you will need to add this id to their references as well.
