See if this happens to anyone else as well...

I created a user name 'tester'.

This user 'tester' created a topic, and he can lock this topic if he wants!

He cannot lock other people's topics but he's able to lock his own topics, and can't unlock it back.

Right below Login/Post Message, there's an option for him> Lock topic.

G'day, Anonymous. What you have described is 'normal'.

it's a normal behaviour users can lock their topics if they've got enough replies or smth. :) admin/the forum moderator can lock/unlock all topics.

There is also a special option:

$userUnlock=0; If it is set to 0, registered user can not unlock his topic again after it was locked (by admin or himself), and vice versa.

I've got the same problem so, please guide me how to fix this.

If possible, I only want only admin can lock the topic.

One more thing, admin can't delete the lock topic. Is it normal or bug?

I don't see a big problem, if user locks the topic. If you want to avoid this, remove elseif($action=='locktopic') require ($pathToFiles.'bb_func_locktop.php'); statement in index.php and the Lock link from the template.

Admin can delete any topic. Probably, you just dont see the link, it is below the page.

Oh, Thanks again.

I am finally sure that it is because of cookies. I have to reload (Ctrl + F5) to see the changes.
