I've just upgraded my PHP here on my Novell, now I get the above error.
I've tried changing the basedir, but so far without any change.
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in sys:/php/fribert.dk/minibb/index.php on line 35

Warning: Failed opening './skins/fribert.php' for inclusion (include_path='') in sys:/php/fribert.dk/minibb/index.php on line 35

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in sys:/php/fribert.dk/minibb/addonlang.php on line 27

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in sys:/php/fribert.dk/minibb/index.php on line 40

Warning: Failed opening './lang/eng.php' for inclusion (include_path='') in sys:/php/fribert.dk/minibb/index.php on line 40

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in sys:/php/fribert.dk/minibb/bb_functions.php on line 86
FATAL: NOT FOUND user_login_form

This is the full error

Any good ideas?

Actually, what open_basedir in Novell means? It seems that it can not open directories marked with ./ before

I had the same problem once. For each:
include("config/config.php") or require() add a / in front of the subdir to look like include("/config/config.php"). This is one way to solve your problem.

It's not a page problem! I think it is a problem with your apache or you php devel...

My problem is my server cannot open any .php pages! It returns an error msg like this.

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Failed opening '/var/www/html/mambo/installation/install.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in Unknown on line 0

Any idea?

Look at your php ini file (/etc/ or %WINDIR%) and find this:

; open_basedir, if set, limits all file operations to the defined directory
; and below. This directive makes most sense if used in a per-directory
; or per-virtualhost web server configuration file. This directive is
; *NOT* affected by whether Safe Mode is turned On or Off.
;open_basedir =
