About adding 'new' 'extra' 'powerful' features etc...

I really like the clear and simple look of this script. And it would be great, things to remain this way. Although I understand users that request more features. So I'd like to suggest to keep the whole idea as it is and the same time provide an upgrade or a big huck that will add the extra features, something like "Power miniBB". And this because there is a big number of users that need such simple forums. I personally use and have used all the known free perl and php/mysql board scripts and I'm tired of them. MiniBB gave me back something that I was missing, and this is it's simple look and way to work.

I don't think you have to worry. Adding a lot of extra features would defeat the whole purpose of this board, the developers are trying to keep it as simple as possible. They are only adding the features that they believe are really necessary and any other features are just released as addons that you can download.

So I think its safe to say that this board will always stay as the simple board we all know and love. :D

Thanks for your remarks. Jeremy has right, we won't make this board maxiBB :) but anyone is welcome to make a suggestion (so you are). Another question - if you need something very specific in your board, then either you yourself or we can make it (but we apologize, for a little payment :)

well i've to say... i'mvery glad with this board.. really i've never seen a board i liked so much!! :D but it would be perfect if you could explain me how to hack out "last discussions" by the way.. i'm translating the whole thing to dutch now. cause i think more people should use this wonderfull code ;-) mzzl
